Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline how we work together when you purchase Fruitchouli knitwear and your use of fruitchouli.com. By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. These terms outline your rights and obligations, and include conditions, limitations, and exclusions that may apply.

 

Returns and Exchanges

All Fruitchouli pieces are made to order and knitted specifically for you. For this reason, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect orders.

We are happy to assist with sizing, fit, or bespoke options prior to placing your order.

We may offer an exchange for an alternative size of the same style within 14 days of delivery, where the original size is unsuitable and the garment is unworn and in its original condition. As each piece is produced on request, ordering multiple sizes to try and return is not possible. This approach helps avoid overproduction and minimises excess waste.

If an exchange is approved, the garment must be returned with all tags attached and in its reusable storage sleeve.

Bespoke knitwear pieces are final sale and are not eligible for exchange or refund.

Thank you for embracing the care and consideration that comes with made-to-order knitwear.

Shipping costs are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return and re-shipment costs where applicable.

 

Bespoke Orders

Bespoke orders are subject to an $80 AUD design and development fee, charged in addition to the retail price of the garment. Full payment is required at the time of ordering.

Measurements provided are used as a guide and may be adapted to suit the nature of knitted fabric and construction.

Bespoke pieces are made to order and are final sale. They are not eligible for return, exchange or refund.

 

Knitting Timeframes, Production and Dispatch

Fruitchouli pieces are knitted to order. Your order will be shipped once it is completed in our Australian studio.

The knitting timeframe for each piece is stated on each product page above the add to cart button. For most pieces, this is 5 to 10 business days commencing on the first business day after your order is placed.

If multiple items are ordered, your order will be shipped once the piece with the longest knitting timeframe has been completed.

You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order has been dispatched. Production delays may occasionally occur.

 

Payment

Orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase using the secure checkout provided on our website. Payments are processed by third-party payment gateway providers (“Payment Providers”). By completing a transaction, you agree to the terms, policies, and legal requirements of the relevant Payment Provider.

Prices are displayed in different currencies depending on your shipping destination, and the currency applied to your order will be confirmed at checkout.

For security, Fruitchouli does not store payment details on our servers. Any charges, conversion fees, or penalties applied by your bank or payment provider are your responsibility. Fruitchouli is not responsible for any delays or issues caused by your payment provider during processing.

 

Shipping

Estimated delivery timeframes and courier options are outlined at checkout. Full details of our shipping and returns policy are available here. For international orders, current flat-rate shipping charges and thresholds are listed here

International orders may also be subject to duties and taxes imposed by the destination country; these charges are the responsibility of the customer. Fruitchouli is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

We work with trusted shipping providers and rely on their delivery confirmation systems. Once an order shows as delivered, we are unable to offer reimbursement or replacement.

 

Order Cancellations and Amendments

As all pieces are knitted-to-order, changes or cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of placing your order. After this time, production will have begun and we cannot guarantee modifications. 

 

Welcome Offer

Only applicable on full-price items and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions. Valid for one use per customer within 12 months of issue. Excludes bespoke orders and shipping costs. Must be used at checkout and cannot be applied to a completed order. Fruitchouli reserves the right to withdraw or modify this offer at any time.

 

Product Faults

In the unlikely event that your piece arrives with a manufacturing fault or damage, please contact info@fruitchouli.com within 14 days of delivery.

Please include a brief description and photo of the issue. Once assessed, we will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund, as appropriate. A prepaid return label will be provided where a return is required. We ask that items are returned unworn, with tags attached, and in the original packaging where possible.

If you believe an item purchased from fruitchouli.com is faulty, you may have the right to receive a repair, replacement or refund under Australian Consumer Law.

The following conditions will not be considered product faults under any circumstances:

  • Product damage, shrinkage or felting due to washing or handling an item in a way other than specified on the product care label and our online care guides.
  • Damage to products caused during storage by insects.
  • Damage due to regular wear and tear.
  • Colour transfer to and from other garments.

If you believe an item you have purchased from fruitchouli.com is faulty, please contact us immediately at info@fruitchouli.com.

 

Shipping Damage

If you believe an item purchased from fruitchouli.com has been damaged during shipping, you may have the right to receive a repair, replacement or refund under Australian Consumer Law.

 

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty & Liability

Fruitchouli is not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website. While we take care to maintain this website, we do not guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

 

Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you consent to this use.

All content on fruitchouli.com, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, trademarks, and design elements, is the property of Fruitchouli (Knit Zero Pty Ltd) or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you the right to reproduce, distribute, or exploit this content without our prior written permission. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
